Categorisation
MIRAR the Media Asset Management System helps you to optimally organise your image and media files. In flexible file structures you can neatly archive your files – according to subject. Files and sub-files can be edited, added or deleted at any time.
File Management
Every file can be provided with detailed information. Every employee or user responsible can add separate details, which are immediately available to all other users. As the operator, it is possible for you to define the file information fields yourself. In the whole system, files can be copied or placed into other files / categories.
Preview
The image and media database generates previews from most of the established image and media formats (e.g. tif, jpg, bmp, eps, pdf, png,)
Search and Find
Files can be found in the complete MIRAR the Media Asset Management System file inventory with the help of an intelligent search function. In addition, an extended search option with detailed criteria is available such as e.g. search for file type, size, amendment dates and much more.

Multi-site capability / Operation-independence
MIRAR the Media Asset Management System allows the utilisation from nearly everywhere in the world – around the clock. You activate your MIRAR media database by using a web browser e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer®.
Image conversion and cutting
Selected images can be easily cut. Conversion into various DPI-, Pixel-, and centimetre values makes for flexible applications. Conversion into various file formats is also possible.
Information list with compression module
Selected files can be taken separately as well as using the MIRAR Media Asset Management System shopping basket function. The shopping basket also offers automatic data ZIP-compression.
Information list with print function (concept print) and CD Ordering
With the help of the concept print, it is possible to print collections of images before downloading or sending. For this, several templates are available for selection. Also a CD-ROM can be ordered from the contents of the information list.
E-Mail Function
Complete information lists can be sent via email (as Zip file). When sending as an email, a receiver with name and email as well as a reference and mail text must be entered. The sender’s user data (Name and email) is automatically added. After this, the receiver receives an email with a link. If he opens this, the download of the information list starts. Also, an overview of the received documents is pasted into the mail text automatically by the system.
Automatic Indexing
MIRAR Indexing can incorporate your existing data into the data inventory fully automatically. At regular intervals an index update takes place and so all manually entered files are recorded. According to the archived file contents, these are displayed in the system.
Authorisation Administration
The flexible MIRAR Media Asset Management System authorisation administration, based on clients, users and groups, allows exact matching to the workplace of the employee. Non-authorised use is thus impossible and makes your data inventory more secure.
Upload (also as ZIP File)
A checkbox for uploading files is available. If a file in ZIP-Format is transmitted to the server, the files contained therein can be automatically decompressed. This can be selected by entering a tick on the form.
Hotmark / Hotfolder
For the file upload, the option hotmark is available to the user. Depending on authorisation allocation it is possible that only this option is open to him. The hotmark is only accessible through the customer account. The documents marked as such have to be checked by the customer, but are already filed in the designated file. Up to approval, these media can only be seen by the user (highlighted).
In addition, all documents which are labelled per hotmark are displayed here. These can be checked and approved if necessary. After approval all documents are automatically visible to all users.
Download / Logging
The quantity (files) and size of downloads are itemised and logged according to users and clients.
Multilingualism
The complete database will be available in English and German. The user can change the operating language. Each client is to be allocated a language in the client setting.
Connection to Web2Print solutions LEAD-PRINT Print-Lounge
For the range of images in Web2Print solutions LEAD-PRINT Print-Lounge (www.lead-print.com) an interface to image and media database MIRAR is now available. It is now possible to use print items in PRINT-LOUNGE directly from MIRAR images.
